Built from what I needed and never found

A Decade of Building, and Rebuilding.

Most of what I know about building a business, I learned by getting it wrong first. Over the last decade I have worked as a personal trainer, moved to Canada, started studying psychology, come back to Australia, tried moving into online health coaching, graduated uni, and built a photography and videography business that looked like what I was supposed to be doing but never felt right. It took years of building things that did not quite fit before I gave myself permission to follow the thing that had been there the whole time.

Through all of it, my biggest driver was always to work with and help people. Not in the way I had been doing it, but helping someone figure out what they were actually building and finding the conviction to follow through on it. What changed everything was the experience of investing over $30,000 in courses, cohorts, and coaching programs, every one of which gave me strategy I could use, but none of which provided the space and support to actually work through it with someone until the thinking became something I could act on. I came out the other side knowing exactly what was missing, and I did not want anyone else to sit in that same place wondering why the strategy made sense but nothing felt right. So I built the thing that would have changed everything for me, and made it the foundation of how I work with all my clients.

Why I do what i do the way i do it.

Every part of how I work comes from lived experience, not a business model I admired. The collaboration, the conversation, the refusal to hand someone a template and wish them well. All of it was built from what I needed and never found.

Built in Collaboration.

The best work I have ever done, for myself or with a client, has happened in conversation. The back and forth, the tangents, the follow-up questions, the moments where something lands that would not have surfaced in a worksheet. That is where conviction gets built. Not by handing you more Notion docs and AI prompts, but by actually being in the room for the hard conversations. I work this way because it is what I needed but never found.

Conviction Through Conversation

There is a difference between having clarity on paper and genuinely believing in what you have built. Most people I work with have already done the strategy. They can write down the answers. But the answers still feel disconnected, either because they arrived at them alone or because the course kept moving and they felt pressured to put something down before the thinking had actually landed. The work sits in the space between having the answers and actually trusting them enough to move. That conviction does not come from another worksheet or framework. It comes from working through it with someone until the direction feels like yours.

Empowered Within Community

Some of the most important moments in my work have not happened on client calls. They have happened in random conversations at cafes, at the gym, with people who are building something they care about and who bring an energy that makes everything feel sharper. The drive is clearer, the thinking is better, the connection to what I am doing feels stronger when I am around people who share similar values and ambition. On the days I do not have that, I notice it. Community is not a business strategy for me. It is what happens when you stop trying to figure everything out on your own and let the right people and the right environment into the work.

What Actually Sets This Apart

I have been on the other side of the table. I know what is missing from most programs and coaching containers, because I have felt the gap first hand.

Strategy and Inner Work, Together

The positioning, the messaging, the website, the offers. That is one side. The fear of being seen, the self-sabotage, the identity questions that come with putting yourself outthere. That is the other. I hold both at the same time, because pretending the inner work does not matter is why so many people build things they cannot sustain.

Permission to Do It Your Way

Everyone has their own strengths and their own way of doing things that works better for who they actually are. I do not hand you a playbook and just tell you to follow it. My role is not to prescribe a formula but to sit with you and find your own way of showing up, building, and communicating, and then trust it enough to follow through.

Under-Articulated, Not Under-Qualified

The people I work with are not beginners who need to learn how business works. They are founders, practitioners, and personal brands whose work has more depth than their business currently communicates. The problem was never their skill or their knowledge. It was that nobody had helped them find the language for what they already do.
